What is happiness? Where it is? For some people, it is shaped in great things and great events, momentary and fast. Lapse of joy, balance for sorrow. For other people, it is in the simplest things, routine moments, childlike smile, and mother’s kiss. Constant and simple moments, blanket in winter, unexpected laughter, chocolate ice cream.
It does not matter what is the definition in the dictionary, nor that great definition quoted by your favorite writer. It is subjective, it is personal and it is up to each of us to define it, find it. Do not try to find it in the future, tomorrow, meet and dine with it every day, personify it and date with it, every day of your life. Sunny day, rainy day, cloudy day, warm day, cold day. Find it everywhere and at all times, in every gesture and in all things.
It does not matter if it seems distant or unreachable; it is there, waiting to be enjoyed, without questions, without foresight, without pretension. Get more, live longer, smile more and walk more side by side with that feeling that builds and constructs. They are the little things, are not they? Have a good week.
