Silence (Another Poem I wrote)

Silence. Calm and take care of my half which is crying and inconsolable, and which does not want to contain itself, it does not want to be limited. Bring me a little peace, a little breeze.

A little luck; a little bit of music. Do not let me venture through the disturbing promises of my heart that beats and beats uncontrollably at all times of noise.

Come up slowly; sit beside me in the window of thoughts and dreams. Do not keep me waiting, restless and thinking at every thousandth of the uncontrollable clock of life. Come up meek and passive, calm and comforting to my struggles and losses. Keep company to my desire, be my dream ladder, crossing to my path.

A little bit of love; a little poetry. Do not let me scream at sad thoughts, nor suffer disappointments that can shut my mind.

Just come quietly, make yourself present, keep company. Do not ask me questions. Do not question me, follow me for a while and, for some time, understand me; then, leave me there, so I can move forward, screaming colorful songs through sad nights of Spring.

Be a creditor

How many chances life gives us, and we dismiss people and things we love. Everyday, the phone numbers of those who are apart are there available for us to call them. The reunions are waiting for the opportunity to reconciliations and those, to which we no longer feel connected to, still circulate through life by linking up and spreading out the thousands of opportunities presented.

Do not waste the chances. Do not neglect each magical moment when life gives you every day a chance to turn a ‘not’ into a ‘yes’, even a smile into tears, disbelief into faith. Maybe tomorrow you will not be here anymore. I try always to remember that the most fascinating and magical things that people take in life are those which we cannot touch, the feelings we cannot touch and emotions we can only feel. When mature, we eventually understand that the greatest wealth is as simple as a smile and clear as a sunny day, and it is something which strokes our ego, nurtures our being.

Do not waste your time with what do not enrich you. Do not be discouraged with the negative ones and make them positive, living dreamers, thinkers. Enjoy every magic moment that life gives you every day so that your notebook of ‘having’ and ‘there to be’ can always be bigger than the one of ‘not having’ and ‘there not to be’; it is preferable to be a creditor. Be a creditor of smiles, hope, and reconciliation. Be a creditor of willpower, courage, and faith. Do not waste your magic moment and feel yourself always blessed. Because that is the way God has taught us when He was among us, "Have faith, for I have overcome the world."
